My sister told me about the movie love & mercy. It’s about Brian Wilson‘s life. I enjoyed the music and styling of the movie.
When I was growing up in Los Angeles I constantly listened to the KHJ radio station and The Beach Boys music was infused in my life.
What I learned from the movie was that Brian Wilson was a musical genius and a very sensitive, kind, and tender man. It was fascinating to learn how he created his music and what he went through in his life with drugs and mental health issues. It especially killed me to watch how cruel his father was to him.
The acting in the movie by John Cusack and Elizabeth Banks was incredible. Especially amazing was the acting of Paul Dano, who tenderly portrayed Brian Wilson when he was younger. Paul Dano is an accomplished actor and I predict he has an incredible future ahead. I just can’t help but love this guy.

In my teens or early 20’s I did see The Beach Boys in concert at The Forum in Los Angeles. I had never seen so many beautiful men and women in one place!
